Key 2 Deployment. Mapping the Way

In Chapter 1 we saw how an organization can run directly off a series of cascading Vision and Mission statements. This approach brings substantial savings in bureaucratic costs and increased effectiveness compared to the heavy budget-setting and reviewing processes that are now typical. In Chapter 2 we present the more traditional strategic-planning-actuated management processes which, when done well, will eventually bring the organization close to the Chapter 1 ideal.
