As another friend from the platform, Chavez (http://twitch.tv/bachavez), put it, “This would be my book on Twitch: Hit the Share button, hit Broadcast Gameplay, and you're streaming!”

That wouldn’t be a book. That would be more like a brochure. I mean, yes, it’s not hard to stream but there’s a lot to Twitch. And there is more to Twitch than just streaming.

Beyond sharing what you love, this platform is about interacting with and managing people. That may sound a little cold, so I want to make it clear that I’ve met some truly wonderful individuals on Twitch. Yet when you’re hosting your own stream and trying to keep control of those who are watching and taking part in it, you (the host) are in charge. Sing along with me if you know the words: This is your channel, your rules. You need to take care of it.

And it’s always good to practice in your interactions with other streamers how you would like to be treated in your own stream.
