A health check may be configured to check a URI. Let's say /login.html is supposed to be checked by a load balancer for a healthy response but doesn't respond within the time specified in the timeout. It would be considered an unhealthy response. This configuration would help us if there is an instance that may be affected due to limited system resource availability and not responding as per the expected time which we would have expected. Ideally, it is suggested to configure the timeout near to the actual response time from the instance for effective use.
