Configuring a load balancer

Now that we know about our health check parameters, let's configure a load balancer. You will need to create an account on AWS and launch one instance:

  1. Open up your instance and then go to the Load Balancing | Load balancers tab.
  2. Create a load balancer. You will be able to choose from an application load balancer, network load balancer, or classic load balancer. The uses of these are shown in the following screenshot:
