Internal Overvoltages in UHV Grid and Their Suppression
Chapter 4 analyzes the formation mechanisms, influencing factors, calculation methods, and restrictive measures of the UHV grid temporary overvoltage, operating overvoltage, very fast transient overvoltage, secondary arc current, and overvoltage in DC systems, and it innovatively proposes the overvoltage deep suppression methods of combining high-performance surge arresters, high-voltage reactors, and circuit breaker closing resistors in an organic manner to overcome the UHV overvoltage problems.
