Construction of UHV Power Grids in China
Chapter 11 is based on scientific forecasting of our future electricity demands and rational selection of electric power transmission approaches for large-sized power bases. It studies the pattern of China’s future electricity flow, defines the functional orientation of UHV DC power transmission, promotes the UHV synchronous grid construction scheme, and demonstrates the safety, economy, and social benefits of construction of the UHV synchronous power grids in north China, east China, and central China.
