The Final Components

In Phase III, the final components of the Astro Sweeper game are added. These include:

  • A scrolling background
  • Debris and Crystals instead of Diamonds
  • More Powerups
  • Audio

The three new classes that are introduced in Phase III are:

  • The BGManager class
  • The Debris class
  • The Crystal class

Reorganized Code

In Phase III, the code has been reorganized. Instead of referencing classes from previous chapters, all of the code is now organized in one code library — a game-specific folder hierarchy. All of the code is now in one of two folders within the examples folder:

org/rapo/games/astro

org/rapo/games/astro/managers

These folders (and their paths) are often referred to as “packages”. ...
