The perception of color has three attributes. Although the terminology varies depending on the discipline, and the definitions are not the same, the three attributes of color can be described as:
- 1. Hue
- 2. Lightness (value, brightness)
- 3. Chroma (colorfulness, chromaticness, saturation, intensity)
