If the data you need to access isn’t app data or user data, then you must need to directly fetch it over the network. Universal apps have the following options for networking:
→ Performing direct HTTP requests
→ Performing background download/upload
→ Using sockets (or WebSockets)
→ Working with syndicated feeds (RSS or Atom)
