When they finally felt that they had a good plan, and while other team mem-

bers were developing equipment specifications, they worked with the mainte-

nance department to build and assemble shelves and delivery carts as per the

PFEP plans and located them in the new plant area that was under development.

The main effort of the information and material flow team was now complete. The

team was confident that what it had developed would work. Of course, everything

is subject to further improvement, but they didn’t expect anything significant.

After the rest of the Trail Gripper team completed the full- scale mock- up

simulations, they developed specification sheets for all the equipment, furniture,
