UX Metrics – The Story of Operational Measurement

Operational measurement is how companies test work and brand recognition to gauge success. Operations Expenditure (OpEx) is the money they spend to grow the business via talent, conferences, marketing, advertising, and so on. It’s everything they spend that isn’t on machines, equipment, rent, and so on. If we as UXers can grasp the significance of this, we can be huge supporters of companies’ goals for growth, reduction of costs, and curtailing of losses due to inefficiencies and poor design.
