In this chapter, we show you how to carry out the second major stage of the Opportunity Engineering (OE) process to engineer an investment opportunity. (The first was Discovery Driven Planning [DDP].) CheckPointing comprises two parts:
1. Opportunity Engineering charting, which systematically maps Opportunity Engineering moves you develop to reduce risk and increase reach
2. Generating a CheckPoint/Assumption Table, which systematically documents all the places you will be testing assumptions ahead of investment
