What this book covers

Chapter 1, Getting Unreal, will set the scene for the rest of the book. Here, the reader will learn about the essential parts of the Unreal Engine. They will also create the first level, add a basic game object, apply a material to it, all in preparation for the rest of the chapters within the book.

Chapter 2, Understanding the Basics of Blueprints, will build upon the previous chapter. Here, the reader will begin to learn and consolidate their knowledge of Blueprints. They will add basic movement to their game object, create a collision mechanism, and create triggers.
