Mind-Note Formats
The following are three ways to take notes that will support you as you mine for gold and learn to last. Use them to mirror the connections you want to create in your brain as you learn.
Note Diagrams
This format helps you connect ideas that may not be organized when you initially hear, read, or experience them. The key topics may not be connected to each other. For example, the topics on the diagrams in Figure T3-1 might each refer to separate learning projects you are working on. Just create a diagonal line when you recognize a main topic, then attach related ideas where you think they belong and as they occur.
