THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
Each SAP system is part of a much larger IT landscape. Such IT landscapes might include all kinds of different software packages, such as office desktop software, email infrastructure, interfaces, and Web applications. The SAP system landscape itself may also be extended with additional software.
11.1 MONITORING TOOLS
A number of tools are available for system and application monitoring. Most of these tools are capable of monitoring SAP-specific components or have adapters to integrate the monitoring tool with the SAP engine.
