The analysis and interpretation of data from evaluation sessions is influenced by a number of factors including:
■ The amount of time you allocate for these activities. The consumers of the test report are usually anxious to get the results and there is pressure to provide “quick and dirty” reports. It is important to plan sufficient time in your schedule for unexpected interruptions, equipment failure, more data than you had expected and ambiguous data. A common shortcut for generating a test report is to give “fuzzy” numbers like “some users” or “many users,” which can easily be questioned. ...
