10. Using TextEdit

This chapter gives you enough information about using TextEdit that you may not need any other word processing program.

Chances are, if you’ve been using any kind of computer for any length of time, you are familiar with Microsoft Word. For years, it has been the universally accepted standard in word processing software. All other word processing programs must be compatible with it to survive, and Mac’s word processing application, TextEdit, is no exception.
