One condition that is apparent from the example shown in Figure 2-9 is that the diagonal
stripes wrap at the edges of the row parity construct. Two important conditions for RAID-DP's
ability to recover from double disk failures may not be readily apparent in this example. The
first is that each diagonal parity stripe misses one and only one disk, and each diagonal
