It is axiomatic that the genesis of this book during World War II and its rebirth on the cusp of the millennium could not have occurred without the persistence and dedication of two thirteenth apostles who followed the author to Zapar, the highest place, and brought his work down from the mountain to its readership.

Initially, Edmund Fuller, distinguished critic and author, apprized the firstborn manuscript and found it a viable publisher. From that time forward, over more than half a century, words of praise and wisdom emanating from the venerable Mr. Fuller, on both a professional and a personal basis, nurtured and motivated a writer’s growth and development.
