Split Screens and Picture-in-Picture

Have you ever wondered how sports broadcasts overlay one video over another so that you can watch a close-up of a footballer’s tackle in a small window, while we see the commentators’ reactions in the video behind? This effect is also used in news broadcasts and even some movies to show the action happening concurrently. If you are making a wedding video, you can show the groom waiting and show the bride preparing at the same time to show two different sides of the same story. This can be achieved with the help of a split screen.
