THE BASIC SYSTEM

Today most small-scale EFP and ENG recording is done with a camcorder (see Figure 4.1). Camcorders contain two components: a video camera and a portable video recorder. With these two components you can shoot and record electronic images. The camera section produces the basic video signal, which is then sent to the video recorder.
