Basic Edits: Sharpening Your Point in Premiere Pro
In the previous chapter, you imported your project’s footage into a Premiere Pro timeline by following an established shot list. This process of assembling a series of video elements into an initial sequence is commonly known as creating a rough cut. The rough cut gives you an overall feel for your story, helps you test its duration, and conveys a general impression of what you are trying to say.
