Time for action—connecting/disconnecting your VM from the network
In this exercise, you'll see how easy it is to connect/disconnect your virtual machine from the network while it's running. I'm going to use the NAT mode, but you can also do this in any other networking mode.
- Select your UbuntuVB machine on VirtualBox's main screen, and click on the Settings button to go to the UbuntuVB — Settings page.
- Go to the Network category, and then select the NAT mode on the Attached to list box.
- Click on OK to return to the VirtualBox main screen, start your UbuntuVB virtual machine, and login with your administrator account.
