Creating a Document-Level Add-In for Microsoft Excel

In the previous section you saw how you can create an application-level solution for Office. In this section you learn how to build document-level solutions, which is the other solution type available. In next example you create a document-level add-in for customizing a specific workbook in Microsoft Excel. Create a new Office project with Visual Basic, ensuring that the Excel 2007 Workbook template is selected (see Figure 52.6 for details). Name the new project CustomExcelWorkbook and then click OK.
