Creating Unit Tests
As you can recap from the “Testing Code with Unit Testing” section, unit tests are methods allowing tests against small, isolated portions of code. To be recognized as unit tests, such methods must be decorated with the Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.TestMethod
attribute. Continuing our example and having the requirement of implementing a method for calculating the perimeter for rectangles, this is how the method stub appears:
