Accessing and Querying Data

In order to access and manipulate data, you need to get a reference to the OData service by creating an instance of the DataServiceContext class—in this case the MyDataServiceClient implementation—and pass the service’s URI as the argument for the constructor. In the Main method of your module, write the following code:

Module Module1    Sub Main()        Dim client As New MyDataServiceClient(New Uri("http://localhost:18407"))    End SubEnd Module

Once you have a reference to the OData service, you can perform queries and other operations. For instance, you can easily retrieve the full list of customers and the full list of orders per customer with the following code:
