Next, we create an app that displays the text "Welcome to Visual C#!" and an image of the Deitel & Associates bug mascot. The app consists of a Form that uses a Label and a Picture-Box. Figure 2.20 shows the final app executing. The app and the bug image are available with this chapter’s examples. See the Before You Begin section following the Preface for download instructions. We assume the examples are located at C:\examples on your computer.
