Appendix C. A Visual Basic Example

This appendix shows all the steps necessary to build a Visual Basic DLL and then use the DLL in an application (this means that you must have Rational Rose Enterprise or Rational Rose Professional Visual Basic Edition). If Visual Basic is not an available language, select the Add-Ins: Add-In Manager menu choice, select the Visual Basic add-in, and click the OK button to close the Add-In Manager window. Since there is usually more than one way to do something in Rational Rose, I will vary how I create an element in this example.
