These days, schools have gone high tech. The amount of communication between parents and teachers is so much higher than when I was a child. At the beginning of the school year, my daughter’s teacher handed me a communications schedule. The schedule contained a listing of when I should expect to receive updates, the nature of the updates, and what information would be contained in those updates. I gave the teacher my email address and a phone number at which I could receive phone calls and texts. Each day I would receive the list of homework for that night by email.
