I found a house that I was absolutely in love with and was very excited to purchase. I did not have enough cash on hand, so I had to take out a mortgage on the house. Because I was so eager to buy the house, I really did not want to have any issues during the finance process that would get in my way, so I checked in with my mortgage broker every week to determine the status of my loan application.
