type of queryyou require.In this chapter,we considertwo typesof queries:
❑FixedQueries.These are queries with novariablearguments. Consider
a classic SELECT query: SELECT* FROM TABLEXYZ. Inthis query
thereisnopartthatmayvaryeachtimethequeryisused.
❑VariableQueries. These are queries that contain variable arguments.
We might SELECT from a table basedon a primary key in an ID column:
SELECT * FROMTABLEXYZ WHEREID = 123. In an application, we
would like the ability tosubstitute123 with another value thenexttime
