When deploying an application using legacy methods, it is possible to customize the application upon installation. This is not possible with a ThinApp package because you can never actually install the application. You can simply execute the application. So for ThinApp to support customization of a package, there is a VBScript engine built into the runtime. Using VB Scripting built into your packages offers great flexibility. Virtually anything can be scripted. The VBScript can interact with both the virtual and the physical environment.
