CHAPTER 12VMotion, Storage VMotion, and Cold Migration

This chapter covers VMotion, Storage VMotion (SVMotion), and cold migration, which allow you to change hosts and datastores. SVMotion, introduced in VI3.5, is now much easier to work with from an updated user interface in vCenter. Additionally, SVMotion used to require VMotion to be configured first, but now it operates as entirely separate feature.
