How to do it...

The following procedure will help you connect ESXi host(s) to a dvSwitch:

1. Bring up the Networking inventory using the vSphere Web Client by using the key combination Ctrl + Alt + 5.
2. Right-click on the dvSwitch and select Add and Manage Hosts…:

3. In the Add and Manage Hosts wizard, select the task as Add hosts and proceed:

4. In the Select hosts screen, click on New hosts... to bring up a list of hosts managed by the vCenter Server:
