Creating a VMkernel interface using the HTML5 client

The following are the steps for creating a VMkernel interface:

1. Log in to the vCenter Server using the HTML5 client.
2. From the Hosts and Clusters inventory view, select the ESXi host to create the vSwitch on.
3. Navigate to Configure | Networking | Virtual switches and click Add Networking to start the wizard.
4. In the Add Networking wizard, select VMkernel Network Adapter and click Next to continue:

5. On the Select target device screen, browse and select a standard switch to form the VMkernel interface on. Then, click Next to continue:
