LINE PRODUCING AND THE CREATIVE PROCESS
Making a narrative film, on any scale or in any format, is a multipronged effort. There is, of course, the creative dimension, which involves writing the script, visualizing the shots, working with actors, etc., and then there is the practical dimension of film production, which involves the organization of time and personnel, coordinating the locations, props, and costumes, dealing with film labs and other vendors, and working with budgets.
