Richard Schrand has been associated with the computer graphics industry virtually full time since 1997, but actually began working on design and layout projects in 1988 when a former client asked him to design a full-page ad for use in the Hollywood Reporter. This was a natural progression from overseeing the graphical looks of television stations across the country, and his work as publicist at NBC Network in Los Angeles. He has written and/or provided content for 13 other books since 2001. In addition, he is the Computer Graphics Department Chair at Nossi College of Art in the Nashville, TN, region. He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
