Once there is a defined process for VM activities, it must be docu-
mented in a manner that can be understood at two levels. Process
managers will need to understand each step and how it relates to other
processes with which their groups interface. is means that the VM
process documentation needs to show escalation paths, process inputs,
and outputs.

book. It explains in checklist fashion each step that can be followed
