07 TIPS FOR BUILDING A CREATIVE HABIT
A creative habit is more than just a routine; it’s a commitment to nurturing your artistic skills regularly. However, while leading busy lives we rarely get a whole day or large chunk of time to dedicate to something creative. The alternative is to find pockets of time inside your existing schedule and make that time special with your watercolors.
Try habit stacking for best results. This is the idea of including a new habit right after a fully formed old habit that you already have. For example:
Old habit: I eat lunch at 12 p.m. every day at the work cafeteria.
Stacked habit: I eat lunch at 12 p.m. every day at the work cafeteria, and then I paint with watercolors for 20 minutes.
