Cupcake
Cupcakes were another dessert that I discovered upon moving to the U.S. It was an instant fascination because of the single serving size that can be decorated in a unique and colorful way.
To sketch the cupcake, start with two almost parallel lines for the wrapper. Connect the lines with a curve at the bottom and a zigzag line at the top. Draw out lines for the ridges on the cupcake wrapper. The icing will be a series of uneven curved lines to represent the folds. The cherry is a circle with a line for the stem.
