Abstract:

The book presents an investigation of the experience of information literacy from the perspective of postgraduate information management students. To accomplish this, the study employed a relational approach identifying the dynamic relationships between students and information, and assessed the impact of these relationships on the outcome of learning. Such a learner-centred perspective proposes an alternative to information literacy education that fosters the development of information skills and the accumulation of knowledge about the information environment.
