If you visit store #3 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, on a weekend, there is a good chance you’ll bump into Shawn Moran. Moran is a part-time associate in the meat department who has been with Market Basket for more than six years. He started there as a high school student but continued to work there when he transitioned to college. He is working toward a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice; at the time of writing, he’s one term away from an associate’s degree.
