Visual Effects
This chapter provides a wide range of visual effects such as star ratings (similar to those used on the Amazon web site), progress bars or bar ratings, the scaling of images up or down, animating transitions at different speeds (and using different types of motion), viewing enlarged versions of thumbnail images, captioning and the rotation of images, changing the mouse pointer, and alternating the text and background colors of table rows.
