From Front to Back – More on Backend Tools and Technologies
In the last chapter, we focused primarily on the frontend. In this chapter, we’ll jump back to the backend side of the fence and look at some other server-side technologies and concepts. A full-fledged website or web app will rarely be only a client – it will nearly always require some sort of server to interact with – so, being full stack and understanding how both sides fit together is beneficial to being a web developer even if you ultimately decide to focus on one side or the other.
