3. Quick Start TIBCO General Interface
This chapter provides detailed instructions on building applications with TIBCO General Interface. TIBCO General Interface is a client-side framework and is completely independent of the back-end technology, so it is easy to use TIBCO General Interface with any type of back-end technology.
This chapter includes step-by-step instructions for building and packaging standalone TIBCO General Interface prototypes, as well as deploying them under Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache Web Server, and Apache Tomcat application server. Additionally, it includes a proposed directory structure along with scripts to deploy General Interface applications using the Apache ant tool from the command line.
