This section contains a selection of features you may wish to implement. The skills they’ll build are varied, and most have several valid approaches. You can tackle them in any order, but some exercises build on work done in others.
We encourage you to be creative and independent in how you choose to do these exercises and to take our recommendations as a starting point.
Saved Posts
This feature allows users to keep a list of saved posts for quick access. It’s a common feature on many social media platforms such as Twitter (likes) and Mastodon Social (stars). Once the feature is implemented, the users will see a button that toggles whether the post appears in the list of saved posts that’s maintained for each user.
