WHM includes a number of tools that help you work with MySQL databases on your server. Most of these features can be found in the SQL Services section of WHM.
To upgrade MySQL, the first thing you need to do is make sure you've chosen the correct version that you wish to use. You do this in Tweak Settings by selecting the version of MySQL you want to use (5.0 or 4.1) and saving changes. (SeeChapter 2 for more on Tweak Settings and selecting the appropriate MySQL version.)
To make sure the latest version of MySQL that you've chosen is installed, you can click on Update Server Software in the Software section of WHM or by running
