9.3. Hotel Ecosystem with Firewalls

In many of our examples, we have been building on the basic Hotel ecosystem; we added events to facilitate interservice notifications; we deployed it across multiple service engines. In this chapter, we see how protecting the service and the client behind firewalls can be accomplished; specifically, we demonstrate how the connectorFTUtil class is used to facilitate firewall traversal. Figure 9.5 depicts the set of service engines and firewalls used by the Hotel ecosystem.
