12.5. AmCAR RFQ System
The Omega-3 system follows the process flow described earlier. AmCAR has decided to use its existing relationships with its tiered suppliers to float the bids through the new system. The Omega-3 efficiency and benefits are experienced through an automation of the manual process described earlier. As the automation is planned to be end-to-end, there will be software components deployed in the environments of both AmCAR and its suppliers. The list of eligible suppliers is determined by AmCAR.
