5.6. Internal servlets

A number of servlets are supplied by WebSphere in the default_app application, and you can also use them as part of your own Web application where appropriate. This includes servlets that allow file serving from WebSphere directories and which add functionality to compile JSPs.

5.6.1. Adding the internal servlets to your Web application

These internal servlets can be added to an existing Web application using the Console -> Tasks -> Add a Servlet task, as shown in Figure 77 on page 168.
